Kay began her yoga journey as a freshman in university. She became immersed in the practice of Bikram yoga and has explored many styles of practice since then. The transformation she experienced through Baptiste-style power yoga led Kay to complete her 200-hour teacher training at Power Yoga Canada. Kay has also completed trainings in corporate and private yoga, hands-on assisting, yoga for children receiving chemotherapy and Oxygen Yoga & Fitness techniques. Kay is a Level I Fascial Stretch Therapist and has a Master's of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour. Her deep love for connecting and understanding the human form is ever-present on her mat, as she leads in a fun and enthusiastic style that makes one feel welcomed, accepted, and free to be. Whether you are a beginner or advanced yoga practitioner, you will delve into the foundation of each pose, various forms of breath work, and develop a moment-by-moment listening for what your body needs.
